Traffic is absolutely horrible, worse than LA (trust me, I didn't think it was possible, either, but it is), with no new major traffic avenues being built, or any of the other ones being expanded, for 30 plus years.īesides all that insanity, there is no state income tax (yet), gun laws are much better than CA(for now), and if you like outdoorsy type stuff there is no better state in the union, IMO. The city itself is over run with homeless people shitting on the streets, just like San Francisco, and heroin needles are everywhere thanks to the dipshit needle "exchange" programs that don't require old needles to be turned in to get new ones. One of the outlying cities has a statue of Lenin. Seattle city council is loaded with far leftists, including one bat shit insane communist woman named Kshama Sawant. The entire state is run by Seattle, as that is where most of the people live. It is nice, on one hand, but on the other, it is CA level kill-me-now bad.
